Why would you put invoices in twice?

If you have quick books. You don't need wp invoice.

Or you using for online payment options?

In that case a simple csv of transactions would work. Import them into journal.

This feature was originally requested in 2009! It's now 2013 (4 years ago!) and despite this being the 3rd most voted feature it isn't flagged as being worked on.

Why are users even told "You can vote for that idea on for Feedback site. We implement most rated ideas." when based on this, it just doesn't seem to be true.

Surely it can't take 4 years to develop, if that were the case it would never come out since software etc. usually updates yearly. Is there actual plans to make this feature available?

This feature would be a HUGE help for us. Like Jan mentioned below, it's a hassle to enter the invoice a second time.

YES!!!!! we are entering invoices twice, once in QB and Once in WP-Invoice! We would gladly pay for this feature.
